First Time Importing Process (with estimated fees)

Classify product to determine the duty

  • $12.00 - first product on commercial invoice (description/documentation must be supplied by importer or exporter)

    • $10.00 - additional products on commercial invoice

Review of and/or Drafting of a US Customs compliant forms:

    • $10.00 - Packing List

    • $20.00 - Commercial Invoice

    • $20.00 - Shipper Letter of Instruction

    • $20.00 - AWB / Air Waybill or BOL / Bill of Lading

    • $20.00 - ISF 10 + 2 worksheet (fee is included if we file the ISF)

    • $25.00 - Entry Filing Form (fee is included in filing if we are doing the filing)

Obtain an Importer Number

    • $15.00 - EIN / SS4 filing if needed

    • $45.00 - filing importer number with customs

Bonds for ISF filing and Entry filing:

    • $95.00 - covers both ISF filing bond and entry bond if cargo is consigned to, and cleared by import company with bond in place

    • $349.00 - Annual Entry Bond will cover both ISF filings and Entry Filings for 12 months when purchased by directly by importer

ISF 10+2 - pre-departure filing requirement for ocean imports

  • $45.00 - electronic filing

  • requires ISF Bond or Annual Entry Bond if cargo is not consigned to bonded importer

Entry Types

  • Commercial Entry

      • $99.00 - air / truck import

      • $169.00 - ocean import, single commodity LCL

  • Personal Effects - unaccompanied baggage

      • $99.00 , air / truck (may require the appearance of importer at customs office to prevent fraud/smuggling)

      • $169.00, ocean less than container

      • $289.00, ocean, full container

  • Vehicle

      • $189.00 by land, truck or driven

      • $195.00 ocean container or Roll On Roll Off terminal

      • Vehicles, agricultural produces and other types of products may require additional documentation and approval by regulatory agencies, prior to import. Costs for these can vary.

Additional Fees - outlays:

    • $10.00 for instant or overnight payments to carriers, terminals or customs

    • .0475% - for any outlays paid to carriers, terminals or customs for prompt release of cargo, including but not limited to:

    • duty, VAT, GST or other assessment;

    • arrival notice;

    • destination port fees;

    • destination terminal handling charges;

    • delivery order;

    • carriers;

    • any other payables for regulated products, inspections, fines, penalties, etc;
